Bird watching
Nowhere else in Sweden can you see so many birds as during a good stretching day at Falsterbo (the record is 1 ½ million!) Where just over 340 species have been observed. The high season for the bird migration at Falsterbo lasts from the end of August to the end of October. In suitable weather, you can then see several hundred thousand birds move away in one and the same day! Particularly spectacular is the bird of prey migration, which is most intense on days with light winds and clear weather.
At the beginning of the season, the species that will move the farthest, such as buzzards, ospreys, swallows and more, and at the end you will find species that partly overwinter in southern Sweden such as buzzards, ring doves, song larks and starlings. Why not prepare or follow their stay with us with one of the books by the authors Christina Olséni and Micke Hansen about the bathing cabins or the bird watcher where they share their strawberry places?
Experience seals on Måkläppen
(Allowed to visit from November 1 to January 31)
Like a drop on the southern tip of the Falsterbo Peninsula, Måkläppen . The long sand reef, which today almost forms a circle, has a bottom core of moraine, but wind and water constantly reshape Måkläppen’s appearance. Out on the sand reef, both harbor seals and gray seals thrive.
Jogging, Hiking, Cycling
Exercise loop through Falsterbo starts at the campsite and runs in a path along the southern and eastern edge of the campsite in a loop through Falsterbo and back.

White beaches as far as the eye can see
This is where you come to enjoy one of Sweden’s finest beaches. In Falsterbo, Kämpinge, Ljunghusen and Skanör, one chalk-white beach after another spreads out – and at Svanrevet in Skanör there is also a large naturist pool. It is not just us who like the white sand here, for example the travel guide Rough Guides who had Falsterbostranden on their top ten list of Europe’s best beaches. See you this summer?
Kallbadhuset
As a health resort and holiday paradise, bathing has always played a central role on the headland. Of course, Skanör and Falsterbo have a cold bath house.
Kungshaga Gård
It a perfect excursion for the whole family. Visit their website here.
Skanörs harbor
Picturesque Skanör Marina is located right where the Sound meets the Baltic Sea. Have a bite to eat, have a drink, walk along the pier and breathe in the fresh sea breeze.
